ROOTS TO RISE
Roots to Rise is a Central Oregon-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting birthing families through every stage of the perinatal journey — especially those navigating the complex path of pregnancy after loss. Donations through Loss Literacy directly fund wraparound care, connecting families with loss-literate professionals and services that support their full experience — from grief to new beginnings. By covering the cost of care, Roots to Rise ensures that no family walks this road alone.
If the vision of a community that tenderly holds space for grief, honors every birth story, and surrounds families with real, ongoing support resonates with you — we invite you to give.
Your donation helps Roots to Rise ensure that no family navigating pregnancy after loss is left without care, connection, or compassion.

A seeker of questions and deep noticer, she began writing at a young age and has now found healing and connection in recent years, by sharing her words through poetry and short prose. She has a strong belief that our stories are what bring healing and unite us together, finding deep beauty in the curves and scars of our lives. She is especially drawn to themes of motherhood, embodiment, and self-acceptance, but interested in a range of stories centered in the human experience. Her involvement tonight began with a shared connection over coffee and created the vision for videography to capture this unique event.
