GENTLE DETOX: MYTHS & MITOCHONDRIA WITH KELSEY SPANBAUER

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Parents who are done living in fear.
Parents who are tired of the noise.
Parents who feel the pressure of raising healthy kids in a world that doesn’t make it easy.

If you’ve ever wondered how to actually support your child’s body without extreme protocols, expensive supplements, or social-media scare tactics — this is for you.

In this class, we’ll unpack the brilliance of your child’s biology. You’ll learn how their cells are designed to detox, regulate, and repair — and how to support that process safely, confidently, and without outsourcing your power to predatory marketing or one-size-fits-all “solutions.”

This isn’t about panic.
It’s about understanding.
It’s about coming home to the design of the body.

ABOUT KELSEY

Kelsey is an experienced midwife native to Central Oregon who has served families for over 15 years. She is known for her deeply holistic, no-B.S. approach to autonomy, natural medicine, and cellular health.

She is the founder and clinical director of Engedi Wellness — a local center for empowered parents who want a truly parent-led, natural approach to family health outside the pressures of “the system.”

Kelsey also founded Undoctor School, offering high-level education for parents and clinicians in mitochondrial medicine, advanced detox strategies, and cellular healing approaches for complex conditions like autism and autoimmunity.

Her belief is simple but bold:
When parents are educated and equipped, they become the health experts their home needs.

Mitochondrial medicine isn’t fringe. It’s foundational. And understanding cellular health may be one of the most powerful ways to shift the trajectory of the next generation.

THE BODY SPEAKS: WHAT YOUR CHIL'S BEHAVIOR IS TELLING YOU.

The Body Speaks: What your child’s behavior is telling you

Understanding sensory processing through an Occupational Therapists lens

Big feelings. Constant movement. Aggression. Picky eating. Meltdowns that seem to come out of nowhere.

What if your child’s behavior isn’t defiance — but information?

In this workshop, we’ll explore sensory processing and behavior through the lens of occupational therapy and child development. You’ll learn how the nervous system shapes your child’s daily functioning and practical strategies to support regulation at home.

Who is this for? Parents, caregivers, teachers, anyone and everyone who desires to deepen their toolbox for their child or themselves!

About Mariah Schwab MSOT & mom of 3:

After completing my masters degree in 2018, I worked in pediatrics until the birth of my second child. While my professional training equipped me with the science behind nervous system development, motherhood has required me to live it. I have become increasingly passionate about empowering parents with the knowledge to help them understand their children, grounded in the reality of every day life. You can know your child intimately. You can parent with clarity and connection. My work is to support your journey and build your confidence, because when you understand the body, you change the story!

PRESENT & PREPARED: COUPLES BIRTH WORKSHOP

Present & Prepared: Couples Birth Workshop

A practical, empowering class for couples who want to walk into birth confident, connected, and ready.

Birth is not a solo act — it’s a team event.
This workshop is designed for couples who want to move through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum together — with understanding, intention, and the kind of calm confidence that comes from real preparation.

Led by Dr. David, chiropractor, owner of Pure Light Chiropractic, and father of two (with baby #3 on the way), this workshop combines clinical insight, real-life experience, and down-to-earth strategies to help families thrive through one of life’s biggest transitions.

🤩 What You’ll Learn

This isn’t just another birth class — it’s a hands-on training in what actually helps.
You’ll learn:

  • The stages of labor and how to recognize and respond to each one

  • Practical partner tools for comfort, focus, and physical support (counterpressure, movement, and positioning)

  • How to “guard the cave” — creating an atmosphere of safety and calm during birth

  • When and how to communicate with your birth team — whether at home, in a birth center, or in the hospital

  • What recovery and postpartum support really look like — and how to step in with meaningful help when it matters most

🤍 Why It Matters

Because birth is a moment that changes everything — and when both parents understand their roles, the experience becomes something deeply unifying.

This class will help you:

  • Feel confident about what to expect

  • Know how to respond in real time during labor

  • Build trust and teamwork before the big day

  • Walk into the postpartum season with a plan for rest, nourishment, and recovery

Your presence matters. Your preparation matters.
And when you’re both present and prepared, you can face the unknowns of birth with peace and strength.
