INFANT & CHILD SAFETY CLASS
This class is designed to give parents practical, hands-on training for the emergencies that matter most. You’ll learn how to recognize normal vs. abnormal infant breathing, when to call the doctor or head to the ER, and exactly what to do if your baby isn’t breathing. We’ll cover infant and child CPR, as well as choking maneuvers every parent needs to know. Led by Lauren and Daniel Paz—parents themselves, with Lauren an RN and Daniel a firefighter/paramedic—you’ll get real-world skills, not theory. No fluff, no fear tactics, just straightforward tools so you walk away equipped and confident.
Please note: This is not a certified American Red Cross training and you will not receive a certification card. The skills taught, however, are up-to-standard and incredibly valuable for every parent and caregiver to know.
All proceeds from this class go directly to Deep Roots Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our heart is to restore dignity and autonomy to birthing couples in Central Oregon. Through these community equipping events, we’re able to fund childbirth education, midwifery services, and essential birth supplies for under-resourced families—ensuring every family has access to the care they deserve and desire, regardless of circumstance.
**Each registration includes 2 individuals! You only need to register once per couple, totaling $120.
